When traveling thru this area (and I do often) I generally lose ATT wireless signal on White Dr.(Hwy 25) around the Charlotte area and this whole area is normally a "dead area" until I get to the east of Cord. A large portion of eastern and southeastern Independence county is a "dead area or has very poor reception for the new ATT wireless. Maybe its time I switched to Altell wireless they seem to be investing into more towers in this area..

Reception totally "dies" just west of Sulphur Rock and doesn't return until you are east of Sulphur Rock near the Newark area on hwy 69.

Cingular and ATT have refused to offer any hope of usable signal level in Clearview since 1998. We are close to a tower 200 feet below us on other side of bluff. Lease tower provides high signal for VZW and Alltell.

I have never been able to get coverage from Altell until I get to 201, then the coverage is spotty and I get a lot of lost calls. Alltel is the worst service I have ever had and my contract is up next month. I will NOT be renewing it.

I am tired of low coverage in the US, last mont I went to Spain and I had perfect coverage in a village lost in a mountain, I had coverage everywhere and perfect voice quality with my AT&T gsm phone in roaming (movistar was the spanish carrier) US CARRIERS : Wake Up!

I cannot get any reception. If Alltel cannot provide service I may need to switch providers. If anyone else in this area has problems, contact Alltel. Or list on this website

We have NO reception at our house. We live near the White River close to Buffalo City. We have asked Alltel to build a tower on our property and they said no!

There is a 3 block wide band that runs through Carlisle that is completely dead. Move to the edge of that band and you get 3+ bars of signal. Move yet another block and get 5 bars. Have been in communication with Alltel techs who have actually come out with meters and driven around town. They figured out that the problem is their directional antennas on their tower near the interstate. They said the antennas were aimed to provide the best coverage for the interstate and could do nothing about it - but would gladly sell me a $300 booster... . Absolutely no service in my home in the most popular subdivision in town. Has been confirmed with at least 4 different model phones. Will be switching to Cingular / AT&T at end of my contract.

No signal from about 2 miles out of Arkadelphia on highway 26 till almost to Antoine.
