i live in the hollywood hills in a house with one small spot where I can get reception. only reason I have AT&T is due to owning an iphone; but will switch the minute another carrier is added. may even switch phones if I learn that AT&T will maintain exclusivity. I can often drive a miles from labrea and franklin all the way to sunset and fairfax without getting reception. yet I can be in the mountains of california, an area without a dense population, and have perfect reception. AT&T is horrible and APPLE should do right by their loyal customers and eliminate the exclusivity and bring on Verizon or another carrier. if AT&T cant figure out how to bring good coverage to a heavily populated city like los angeles, they dont deserve apples exclusivity on such a popular phone like the iphone. if they lose the exclusivity, watch AT&T stock tumble and fall; just the wake up call they need!

Horrible. AT&T needs to put another tower to accomodate the residents of this town. Verizon does have coverage in this area

I have the BB and an LG Slide. Just moved to N.B. from south O.C. where I had minimal problems previously. Zero signal indoors, almost as bad outside until I get onto 17th street. Everyone thinks I've left the country - they can't get ahold of me and I can't get ahold of them. Thanks ATT :(

Sunset / Crescent Heights intersection, Los Angeles, CA 90046 Mon Oct 19, 2009

AT&T was the ABSOLUTE worse service in West Hollywood. It too got no reception in my house, and I couldn't even drive down Sunset (west-bound) and have a conversation on the phone without multiple disconnections. The service was sooooo bad that I recently switched back to Sprint and picked up a Palm Pre. Being a Mac freak myself, I was really expecting a downgrade as far as phones go. You know what, the Pre is awesome. There are some things I miss about the iPhone, but there are an equal number of things I like more about the Pre. Ohhhh... reception. I have it now; in my house, on the road, no problems! Not only is the coverage WAY better, but my monthly cost is less. AT&T was awesome in other places I've been to (New Jersey, Las Vegas, SF Valley, San Diego), but as far as my hood goes, it SUX!

Jonathan / Seneca intersection, Adelanto, CA 92301 Fri Oct 16, 2009

Ever since I moved to Adelanto, I have lost so many calls from dropped reception. I need to drive to Victorville to get 2-3 bars. I am very frustrated with ATT that they ignore the fact that reception is very bad in my area. I am thinking of switching to Verizon or Sprint. Shame on you ATT, after being a loyal custyomer for 6 years starting with Cingular it is about time I drop you.
