Los Feliz Blvd. / Griffith Park Blvd. intersection, Los Angeles, CA 90027 Sun Jul 24, 2005

3 deadspots on Los Feliz Blvd., however really big one off Los Feliz and Griffith Park and extends down to Rowena. No Reception. Once in a while, one to two bars will come out, but on extremely rare occasions.

Arthur / Second / Longden / Second intersection, Arcadia, CA 91006 Sat Jul 23, 2005

Within 2 blocks goes from 5 bars to 0 bars. Absolutely no reception at home. I wish I knew about this site before I spent 25 minutes on the phone with Cingular who offered no answers or solutions.

LG VX6100
Oxnard St. / Laurel Canyon Blvd. intersection, North Hollywood, CA 91606 Thu Jul 21, 2005

Our LG VX6100 has been replaced as we were unable to place or receive calls, the problem still exists. The phone showed at least 4 bars for reception but still unable to call or receive a call or texts. We will have to get another make to fix the problem. Opposed to that our other phone an Audiovox with new technology, crisp and clear served by Verizon also. The signal bars do not mean much at the end.

Washington / Mollison Ave. intersection, El Cajon, CA 92019 Thu Jul 21, 2005

You have coverage in the area until you go through this intersection. Lose every call. NEXTEL, you need to expand coverage in the El Cajon area of SAn Diego County. This area has been left with poor coverage.

Last year with AT&T GSM I had excellent reception in Yosemite Valley. This year with Cingular NO RECEPTION. How is it possible to merge two networks and have worse service?

This phone combined with this carrier are awful. Every call I make is dropped. Yes, EVERY call, everywhere. I know someone who has a different phone with Cingular and they don't experience the same problems I do. Perhaps buying a $200+ phone would solve these problems.

E. Evelyn / N. Wolfe intersection, Sunnyvale, CA 94086 Wed Jul 20, 2005

I just moved to the area(Sunnyvale) and have very poor reception in my home. I have to walk out to the street to receive 2 bar reception. I connacted Verizon and they say it's on my end and that their engineers have noted that the are has good coverage. Now I'm looking for another carrier.

680 / Diablo intersection, Danville, CA 94526 Tue Jul 19, 2005

When you exit 680 on Diablo, you drop the call. Traveling from Alamo to Danville on surface, plan on losing a call more than 3 times in 3 miles. Cingular used to have great coverage in downtown Danville, but for the past 6 months it's been dismal!
