Reception used to be poor to below average. Now that AT&T merged with Cingular, it's zip. Can't even call 611 to renew my time. Maybe that's a sign?

T mobile is ok for the most part out here in east county, but it seems to duck out all the time on fuerte drive and at the same spot at the intersection of avocado blvd and fuerte drive

Just moved from another state to south San Jose, CA. T-Mobile has no reception. On lucky days, I get 1 bar for a few minutes. Frustrating! I'm going to switch to Cingular (although I hope to God that they fired all AT&T wireless customer service people)

If you are looking for a phone DO NOT GET VERIZON! The reception is very poor if there is any at all. They also add hidden fees. I am very unsatified with this service and had to pay $175 to cancel it.

Just received. Have not been able to connect at all, even to register phone. Tried inside, outside, porch, street... useless. All this new technology and can't even get a signal at my house. Had phones for years, and this is the first one to not work at all. Sending it back.

Riverbend Apartments, Yorba Linda, CA 92887 Mon Jun 13, 2005

just driving into the complex I have two bars which quickly turns into no bars, in my second story apartment I get a big fat X for signal, sometimes I get the bars outline and I have managed to recieve txt messeges this way and even send one or two but never seen it with even one bar and it's impossible to make a voice call. My girlfriend's Cingular works fine and my friend's Sprint works here took, I love my sidekick but I might need to get rid of it because I need it to work! I called T-Mobile and they said they wern't planning on putting any towers in this area anytime soon, but my phone works great around town, no problems so far.

Verizon Wireless is Great all over Los Angeles. However, in Calabasas, it is Absolutely HORRIBLE! Great Reception at "The Commons," but none at the resdential Areas of Calabasas.

I have horrible reception on my brand new phone. The second I get near my building service goes out. Get nothing in my apartment building. Occasionally I get 1 or 2 bars. Takes several blocks for phone to "recover" and pick up signal again. Network service in backyard is choppy, often busy. Sporadic service in Noe Vally, too.
