T-Mobile signal is *appallingly* bad in the East Bay. Over the Berkeley Oakland area I *average* about 0.5 bars. I *cant wait* to conclude my contract with them and switch to a real cell phone provider.

Once I turn off Hwy. 9... DEAD! I can't beleive that I am unable to place / receive a call from home. (I get 5 bars 1 / 2 mile from home in the village.)

Sprint drops away completely here, for about a mile. it is strange. Within 5 miles of this area, Sprint is really bad. You need to get to the edge of Pasadena before decent signal can be had.

I just switched over from Version because my company sponsors Cingular. Also roll over minutes. I wish, I new about the bad reception for Cingular before switching over. I am screwed!

Avondale St. and Bollinger in West San Jose (95129) I have been very happy T-Mobile customer. It ringed everywhere in the US, China, Singapore, France, Geneva, Mumbai etc T-Mobile does not ring in my home or outside in San Jose. The repeated calls to their service has fetched no success. They offered me a 50 minute free time which is kind of useless if there is no reception. Anyone recommending other carriers for the above cross street?
