5 days now with no reception. After a week of no reception in the beginning of the month, this is getting extremely frustrating. Constant promises to repair the towers yet the problem is back again. At&t needs to get this fixed ASAP. The odd thing is that if I drive up the canyon there are spots where I get 5 bars of signal yet the phone wont make or receive calls or access the internet.

This is rally bad, I moved to Post St. (right smack in downtown San Francisco) two days ago and upgraded my Blackberry Pearl Flip phone to Samsung Galaxy 4G yestready evening. The reason I updgraded my phone: I had no signal what so ever at my new home! And I moved only 12 blocks away from my old home. My new home is right smack in downtown. So I thought by upgrading my phone to 4G this problem would be solved but NO! I don't get any signals at my new home, I don't get phone signal, 4G signal, internet signal, WIFI signal, etc, blank dead NOTHING! When I went to TMobile store to upgrade my phone I asked the Customer Service girl to make sure that I will be getting a good phone with a great signal reception and off course she said "This is the strongest signal phone at our store and on our map it shows that your new home should be getting excellent signals" Well you know what???? Not true... So now I am puzzled, I don't want to swicth to AT&T and when I called they said they don't know what TMobile's future is with this AT7T merger thing. Totally SUCKS!

Terrible reception. Even bought the Microcell (why in the world should I have to buy a device to make my phone work in a home that's 1300 square feet is beyond me) and still nothing. Called AT&T and they say "well the coverage map says you have good coverage". Who creates the map, a 4 year old? Took screenshots for weeks of "Call Failed" on my iPhone and sending them into AT&T so that they either update their coverage map or let us out of our contract. Ridiculous.

I had no coverage during the November storm, spotty since then, and no coverage for the past month. AT&T says the towers are damaged and keep giving me dates when they will be fixed but never are. What gives with these people? How much are we going to take?

I get no reception in my apartment. I can't even count the number of time I have had no reception in downtown Sacramento. I suspect all the carriers sucks just the same, so I don't do anything, but come on. Outside downtown Sacramento I can get no signal? How pathetic? Is it the phone, perhaps. I have a work phone with AT&T that is an old piece that gets full signal everywhere. I buy a fancy "smart" phone and get no reception anywhere. Is it because Sprint doesn't want me to use they services or are they sending me a message to go to another carrier?? Very frustrating.

AT&T says there are 10 degraded towers in this area. They Claim the degraded towers will be repaired by sunday 3 / 27. I believe that AT&T, does not own the these towers, but pays for shared usage from them, perhaps they have let that contract lapse? When the iphone first came out I tried to purchase online from apple with a 90290 zip, but was refused, due to the towers in area code 90290 were not AT&T towers. I then purchased the phones via apple online using my 90265 zip, and the purchase went through; however in the user agreement it stated that if the majority of usage was on non-AT&T towers, my service could be terminated. Anyone that uses AT&T in 90290 should call in and report their service issues, squeaky wheels get the grease. Bottom line: AT&T credited me $30 + 3000 additional rollover minutes after 1hour on the phone with them.

Anyone have an idea why T-Mobile service is down all over Salinas (93901-93906) today, 3 / 22 / 11? I'm showing reception (2-5 bars) all over town but no ability to call out (except for 911 calls) and incoming calls go directly to my voice mail (I called my cell from a land line). Is T-Mobile in shock over the news this week that it is being taken over by ATT? Just asking.

The only time my phone have bars is when I am not touching it. The minute I pick it up and try to use it to see my emails or make a telephone call, I get "No Service" or "Searching". If I am very, very lucky, the phone might let me make a static filled call that cuts out after the person on the other end of the line picks up. It would be faster to snail mail a letter and wait for a reply than download an email and send a reply on my iPhone with AT&T service.

I need T-Mobile to work on it because I had service before and now I don't have anything. It needs to work in order for me to receive information about colleges.
