No bars at all. Called AT&T - says 4 new towers going up ASAP. Tried Verizon, no better. Tried Wi-Ex zBoost YX510 - Home cell phone signal booster - from Crutchfield, no help. Solution was to add home phone line, forward cell calls when at home.

Absolutely no service in my ground-level studio. Even walking up to Noe or down to Mission streets takes a couple of blocks for (minimal) signal to be restored.

Used to have two to three bars in my home office. Now have none, same on my wife's razor phone. Verizon says there is no tower problem. 90% of incoming calls go directly to voicemail. Problem is that I have a contract through 9-2008. Verizon suggested phoning from outdoors. I don't want to phone from outdoors. I just want my bars back. Hey Verizon, where are my bars?

poor reception on the south end in Oasis resort condo at 111 and Cherokee. Better on So. Palm Canyon but now at Sunrise Palms it's about zero. Have to find a new provider but from what I've read here none of them are much good.

No reception at all. An entire neighborhood with out coverage. I'ts unbelievable! No reception- same deal with all providers. McKean tower didn't help the other side of the hill at all!

After about 10 months of nearly perfect service, my phone lost all reception. Its as though T-Mobile stopped leasing a tower or something. I reported bad service at this location on Nov. 11, 2006. T-Mobile seemed to fix the problem a week later. Now we are back to square one. I have to walk 10 minutes to Haight St. to make a phone call. iPhone here I come.

Near SCU, Santa Clara, CA 95050 Fri Oct 19, 2007

Cingular has TERRIBLE reception in the area near Santa Clara University. Whenever I'm indoors, I always get dropped called, which is kind of ironic since Cingular's ads always say that they have the least dropped calls. Furthermore, whenever I try to call someone, I have to try countless times before I even manage to call through. When I eventually manage to get through, the reception is VERY bad and I can hardly hear what the other person is saying. It just sounds like this, "Hello? *insert 5 seconds of NOTHINGNESS* Hello? *insert another 5 seconds of hearing absolutely nothing at all* HELLO?? ARE YOU THERE? *gets disconnected*" I'm definitely switching to Verizon or T-Mobile. Shame on you, Cingular!
