Imperial Ave from EC Hospital to Costco - "Emergency Calls Only". This is when I'm standing outside, clear day, no buildings in my way. This seems to also extend West to Austin Rd. sometimes(~20 sq miles). Service has been this way for past six months or so. Different phone doesn't help. Different time of the day doesn't help. Needless to say, I won't be renewing my contract. P.S. AT&T doesn't have 3G network in Imperial Valley yet.

At&T is bullshit. Why am I paying for no reception in my home or work? I'm cancelling this crap asap. If they try to charge me the cancellation fee theres going to be hell to pay. Fuck At&t! Its not like I live in the woods, I'm in the middle of a metropolitan city.

thankfully, I don't spend too much time on the phone, but if I did, I would have to switch from AT&T and not be able to use an iPhone. my old Razor got decent reception but the reception is pretty much 0-1 bar all of the time. I can't wait to ditch AT&T! should have bought an iPod touch and switched to Verizon!

There is basically 0 to 1 bars at the cabrillo campus. It is terrible. Anywhere actually along soquel from domican hospital to cabrillo sucks. But if you go on the other side of highway one where portola is and 41st, reception is great. I don't get it, because it is only like 100 yards away across the freeway.
