Inside new block of stores, including Apple Store, that was recently built, was unable to receive any signal bars. Customers and employees must leave the building and go outside into parking lot in order to place or receive calls.

I am on the Sprint network with Virgin Mobile. I have little or NO signal. My connection is awful at "-106dBm" That's MINUS dbm! I would not advise using Sprint or Virgin Mobile in the Yorba Linda area. I will be swiching to "who knows" tomorrow. Every carrier lies about their coverage and sales people generally are more interested in the sale versus your sanity.

You get no metro PCS service here even though it says perfect! you have to add money to a roaming account to make or accept calls. You can text. I would not go with them..horrible customer service.

switched to Sprint 3 days ago. have had AT&T for 5 plus years with no complaints, other then how much they wanted for a family data plan. thought I would give Sprint a try an well, so far at my house I have 1 to zero bars. where my AT&T phone has got 3-4 bars. cant receive text or phone call for the most part. other then my house coverage has been great. just dont know if I can deal with the fact of no coverage at home, without a land-line

Altadena Dr. / Lake intersection, Altadena, CA 91001 Thu Jan 20, 2011

I used to live in Eagle Rock using Sprint with no problems. Moved to Altadena hills area, and it's known around the block that this area is a dead zone for phone reception. My landlord and roomate have Verizon, and receive spotty connection, but it's better than nothing. Sprint is 0% unless I drive a mile from the house down into the lower parts of lake. I'm switching to Verizon.

At most 1 bar but then drops the call. Terrible. Have to walk up the hill to get any reception and even then it is terrible.

Reception is horrible. Best we get is one bar. Most of the time none. I would drop my land service if we had reception.

AT&T is a running joke with residents of Sierra Madre. Orange juice cans and string would be a significant upgrade. We're thinking of switching to Verizon but will be sure to research it thoroughly first.

Glad I didn't cancel my land line... ... I don't want to repeat all the frustrating comments about AT&T and iPhone that you can read above / below but it's the worst mobile phone experience I had in my life - I definitely will try a different model and carrier

The reception used to be bad here, now it's non-existent. I have been a Verizon customer forever (since my first phone), but I guess it's time to say good bye.
