I'm truly at a loss, called AT&T to get a "free" personal cell tower because since moving here two weeks ago my reception went From bad to gone! I have lOst clients, personal calls and fear I may even need to actually make an important call one day and just can't! They wanted An extra $20 per month to have the tower because there is no reason I should be experiencing any reception issues! What a JOKE! AT&T your pitiful!

My experience is that ATT's coverage map is accurate for this and the western parts of Marin IF you convert their lowest rated coverage areas on their map to "rare connections" areas--which means a very large part of this area. One CAN however obtain better connectivity with certain phones in these areas, so when buying your phone ask for ones with the strongest connectivity.

I just bought a new phone in September. Reception was fine and I never had any problems. Then I went home for winter break and when I came back my phone says "No network" even though it has 5 bars. I know my phone antenna isn't damaged because I can still call the police if I need to. I don't understand what is going on but I really don't like T-Mobile.

I used to get 3 bars in my home with my Samsung freeform metro PCS phone, now I get no reception what so ever. I have to get into my car and drive several blocks away to even get my voicemail messages, let alone make a phone call. The phone drops calls constantly. Beware!

I have a USB 305 sierra wireless internet card. No reception at elevation 3400ft northeast of Whitmore. Even with a good antenna I can boost the signal but does not connect.

AT&T... horrible. Live up in Beachwood Canyon (Right under the Hollywood Sign). I have never been able to make a phone call in my house. I mean NEVER. I'm able to make a call when I drive down Beachwood Dr. reaching Franklin Blvd. What was it again? "at&t nation's fastest network". Looking around for something new.

Horrible reception. Had to consistently walk 2+ blocks for service to place calls / texts. Sporadic and intermittent vm / txt notifications at random hours. SFSU yielded better service but it was generally poor as well. I absolutely hated ATT and their customer service.

AT&T sucks balls in the Century City area. If calls were dropped, that would be an improvement - half the time, there just is not enough coverage to even make a call! I'm so sick of seeing "No Service" on my iPhone... what the hell am I paying AT&T $100 / mo for again?

Topeka / Michigan intersection, Pasadena, CA 91104 Sun Dec 19, 2010

Earlier this year, AT&T officials said a new tower should come on line in December that would improve the signal in this area. Does anyone have any information on the status of the tower? There is no phone service in this area.
