My husband and I tried to call from the border of Prospect and Waterbury on Route 69 with two separate phones, a Nokia and a Motorola (both admittedly low-end). No signal on either phone.

Horrible reception. I can't even receive text messages!

My business and home are located in the 199 through 213 range of addresses. There is NO reception for Nextel here. And it's spotty right down through Deep River which is south.

Cingular is terrible. I can't get reception in my own back yard. I live near the water and can't get a signal at the beach or on the boat either. When traveling with friends, my phone is the only one without enough bars to make a call. I use their Verizon phones with perfect reception and signal. Now I am stuck with a 2 year contract, but not a working phone. I was considering one of those signal boosters, but I am not sure it will work.

Nothing on Rt. 4 in Burlington. Verizon has a signal, Cingular doesn't!

No reception all along Mountain Rd. in northern West Hartford.

About 3 miles north of I-84 along Rt. 6 reception dropped to nothing. Pretty disappointing since the T-Mobile map shows this area is within their service area. Apparently AT&T is the only provider that actually provides good reception here.

Verizon drops to zero on Stateline Rd, and therefore in the Clark Rd. / Westview Trails area in New Fairfield.

Verizon drops to zippo going up Padanaram Rd. towards the 7/11 & Citgo.

Occasionally one bar, calls often dropped. Parallel to I-95 / MNRR tracks.
