Right on the shore. In the parking lot it's 5 bars on my Verizon while my friend gets 0 bars with his Cingular. Inside the condo both of us get 0 - no reception. When I called and asked Verizon about it I was told that shouldn't be the case since the reception on the water should be good. Okay...
Between the South Windsor line on I-291 thru the 84 / 291 interchange there is no service on most days, every once in a while you can sneak thru with choppy reception. I also drop service on Oakland street and parts of Buckland Hills Dr.and the Buckland section of town. I am almost always in my truck and on the phone, I drop at least 6-8 calls a day in various portions of Hartford and Tolland County's
No service! Cingular does have a bit better service in the area however. A tower is currently being built in this area and I hope that the service will improve!

Verizon wireless "Can you hear me now? What. Batteries go dead within a couple of hours from searching for a signal when inside the house. Must not touch the phone if you need to make a call except for rotating it to get "that one signal bar" so your call will go through.
