dropped calls at: N.Monroe and Tennessee St. Thomasville Rd.at Kerry Forest CapCirNW at Fred George calls are dropped ALWAYS. plus, phone goes from no bars to 5 bars instantly. I travel the city continuosly, and get dropped calls all over, especially in the areas listed above. Have been with Nextel for 6 years. The cell service has sucked horribly for the past 18 months. I am looking forward, eagerly, to a new cell service provider.
One would think that Nextel could figure out how to give their biggest fans reception in a town where there are two races a year. My phone only works on rare occasions and you can forget it during race and bike weeks. Have a Cingular too. Atleast it works in my house when I'm not getting Call Failed. I'm convinced they all $uck money out of our wallets in return for NOTHING.
Nextel sucks at almost everything from customer service to phone reception. I also spend a lot of time in DC and they screw me there as well. Don't ever buy a Nextel phone, the person who gave Nextel a good rating must be a Nextel employee. I can't wait until my contract is up and I never have to deal with this terrible company again (that includes Sprint).
Terrible reception south of gandy, heading north the reception improves. Like the plan and circle of 10, but will have to change due to the dropped calls and lack of reception

Tmobile has been good in Cape Coral but when I am at work I have no reception at all. T-Mobile was sharing with Cingular but not now. I have just gotten a new phone with Cingular so I can use at work along with home.
Well about eight miles west of Pierson is where Cingular's GSM service starts to get spotty. After that you get into an stetch of highway 40 (it is about ten mile) where there is a huge dead zone. Cingular GSM will not work there.
This Rd.Sucks. You get reception for about 2 minutes of the 30 minute trip. Good Luck making business calls from this road. Avoid it like the plague.

Metro PCS sucks, 1 year service, lost many jobs due to in house no reception, the battery died in 20 hours due to continue searching for signal, I had it hanging near the window. The roaming is an assault at 0.80 minute. Finally I soaked it in the tube. Now I am reading your comments to see where am I going to bet my luck again. I think I will go with T-Mobile prepaid, just in case I have to soak it either. I really dont like the 24 months commitment, if it wouldnt work id get a heart attack... .in T-Mobile I will bet 10 bucks, if it work ill put a 100, thats 0.10 a minute, almost the same money, and you have a year to spend it. Wish me luck. Best regards, thank you for your comments.
