Some of the time it is 1, but fades in and out of roaming. Usually it drops out completely and if I am on talking to someone I have to rush to the outside of the building. The funny thing is there is a Sprint tower south about 1 / 4 mile just on the other side of State Hwy. 414. To add most of our clients and support people are also on Sprint. There is alot of movement here when a Sprint cell phone has to be used. I have gone through the rounds by upgrading the software by taking it to Sprint and talking to the tech people. Still no relief.

We had very good reception with 3 or 4 bars until the end of April. Since then we have 0 bars. I called repeatedly and was told various answers. The tower was down, it was fixed, the tower was discontinued, etc. They tried boosting my signal and that didn't work, said they would call back and never did, wasted a lot of my time, etc. They said I need a better phone, but that is incorrect because two other people here have other model phones and they have no service either. The last person I talked with finally admitted that the closest tower was now 10 miles away. We loved Cingular and had it for 5 yrs. Now I can't wait to get rid of it. I have no service here and can only use my phone when I'm away from home. I have been lied to and treated badly by this company after being a loyal customer for yrs. They just don't seem to care about their customers any more.
Alltel "cherry picks" its service areas. Rural North Florida has very poor service. Alltel is said to spend 1.5 millon on signs on the "Alltel Stadium" in Jacksonville, while providing good service in rural areas goes lacking.

Poor reception extends to the north into a densely populated area where many students live. I don't understand why it is taking TM so long to serve their customers. I have been a long term customer since the days of PowerTel / VoiceStream and thinking about switching.
Already upset (at&t to cingular) went to Sprint. They told me "no problem, there is a tower near you". They lied. No bars, phone wouldn't even ring, couldn't call voice mail. My clients couldn't reach me. Called the manager, he said he didn't know where my neighborhood was... I told him, he should know all the neighborhoods and towers in his service area. Realized my husband had good service through Nextel. Cancelled the Sprint Account. Seems like I spent a week dealing with phone issues. Wanted to throw them all in the pool.
I've been stuck with 2 lines of service to T-Mobile for the last year and glad it's over. My phone does not work at all in or around my house. Calls are dropped constantly. long periods of time with " No Service" ! T-MOBILE SUCKS!

Have had Sprint for almost 2 years. Constantly throughout Tallahassee I will have my calls dropped. Can't even use my phone in my own driveway! Hate my phone and the service!
