Service here terrible to non-existent. These cellular services should not charge an activation fee until it is determined that you will actually receive service.
Tmobile used to be really good but in Surfside we have no network in our house. We contacted them twice, basically they say they do not have the money to build another tower nearby. Ohh well, we'll switch networks. I used to like TMobile.
on the way to my house it cuts in and out, at my house it wont work at all, going to bainbridge on the 27 it will cut in and out, but in tallahassee I never have a problem

Don't have a car accident, get snake bit, cut yourself, or get into a domestic dispute in this area, as there is a huge dead zone in and around Putnam Hall, including from Melrose west to Putnam Hall (5 mi), from Putnam Hall north to Keystone Hgts on SR 100 (6 mi) and also from Putnam Hall to Palatka (20 miles). There is poor coverage in downtown Melrose only and also in Orange Heights, but no coverage if traveling between Melrose and Orange Heights (another 5 mi. dead zone). Can you hear me now?? My cell phone battery goes dead overnight trying to do a 'keep alive' with the nearest tower from our 11 acre weekend place in Putnam Hall area. We have to literally stand outside at the front gate to make a call. Thus, my comment: don't get hurt or snake bit, or break a leg, as you may not even be able to call 9-1-1. Someone needs to sue these folks over this outrageously poor coverage. There is a ray of hope though: Verizon just bought Alltel and this MIGHT (although I am doubtful) increase coverage in this area. There is a NexTel tower near Putnam Hall on Goodson Prairie road. I can see it from my property, so if you live out here, Sprint-Nextel may work better for you. Or get a "pay-go" phone - they always seem to work fine. Go figure. Someone is raking in the $$ by providing us with lousy coverage at premium price.
As of this writing on Monday May 18th, 2009, all AT&T cellular coverage in Vernon, Florida has been out since Friday. I called AT&T on Friday and Saturday, was told they had a crew working on the tower. When the system actually works, I typically get 3 bars inside living about 8 miles from the actual tower. They have more dead spots here and there around the county than Sprint, but, the service cost less. I would have switched to Verizon by now, however, Verizon isn't set up on their end to port my number.

AT&T blames a lake on Grant Rd. for all bad receptions, with all carriers. I have AT&T for almost 2 years now and what a mess! We had Verizon before switching to AT&T and we never had this problem. I have called and called AT&T and never got anywhere. I did however call last month and was told that "the reason all the cell phones are having bad reception in SE Palm Bay is because of a lake on Grant Rd. It is a problem when you live close to a body of water." WHAT?? Now come on, what about the people that live on Beach Side? I lived on beach side with AT&T a few years ago and never had this problem. There is something else causing these problems in Palm Bay and don't see how it is lake on Grant Rd. I had AT&T landline, which I swtiched to Brighthouse, because it got to where I could not make calls on that phone. I could hear other peoples conversations and AT&T would not do anything about it. I was told that it was the wiring inside my house. Whatever, enough is enough with this company! I am going to try Metro PCS, as our friend has them and uses his phone at our house with no problems and it is one rate for unlimited.

It says we are in the reception area for at least outside calls but try to dial a number and it gives you a ( only emergency call only message). No data reception at all.
T-Mobile WAS OK; now is the WORST. There is hardly any reception anywhere. I get messages days after being left; missed calls left and right when phone shows full reception, it doesn't even ring. Have tried with 6 different phones (Motorola, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, ATT, Samsung, and LG) but reception still extremely bad. When I call T-Mobile they tell me is my phone; after trying the 6 different ones, they told me they were "fixing antennas in my area". B.S. Unless they have been fixing their antennas for the last 9 months. I'm stuck with contract, and can't wait to be released and switch.

Can't receive any calls in my house and taking calls outside is just fair. The phone doesn't even ring in the house. Again, Palm Coast is really in desperate need of better tower coverage. Verizon says they have an extender that seems to work in areas like Palm Coast for $250... .I said "you should pay me to stay with Verizon". My bros-in law's iphone works fine in my house. I wish I could afford the iphone monthly service charges because that is what I would like to do. Still hoping someone has a suggestion for better reception.
