T-Mobile coverage seems perfect regardless of where I am. Except in Boca Raton, going over the Florida Turnpike while on SW 18th street and Palmetto Park. Service cuts off for about 1/2 mile.

I usually get no reception past the gate of the entire community. This is the case with almost all providers (Cingular, T-Mobile, and Sprint tested). Each of these with multiple phones.

Oakhurst area of Seminole, FL - Until several months ago signal level was acceptable and outgoing calls went to "extended Service" on Altel tower. That has changed. Now no useable signal and no handoff to "extended service". Although there are at least 3 cell towers visable from this area,(obviously not Verson Wireless towers) Verizon Wireless phones won't even roam. Because this represents a decline in service, those affected should be able to void their contract with Verizon Wireless without penalty based upon their (Verizon Wireless) "constructive termination" of service. My experience with Verizon Wireless regarding this issue is much the same as with other carriers-they dance around the issues, lie about it and when push comes to shove they basicly tell you "it's tough, we never promised service in any specific location".
Zero reception in entire Tuscawilla neighborhood in Oviedo. Guy at Verizon store said it's because Verizon has no cell/ reception site in Tuscawilla and that there's nothing I can do. I use my cell for business calls from the home and initially bought it in Seattle (where it worked pretty well most of the time). I have the cheapo Motorola V120 but Verizon Store Guy said better phone would make no difference. Have to drive 2-3 miles away to get reception. Upon moving to Florida I get an average of 2 bars, 90% dropped calls and the phone no longer stores/ records Missed Calls. I have to listen to each voice mail to see who called and that's IF I can make it all the way through a VM message without being disconnected. If anyone knows a carrier with good reception in Tuscawilla please, please let me know! Thanks!
I live downtown and used to get reception at Baywalk with AT&T TDMA. And even in the beginning with GSM a year ago it was fine. But in the past six months or so, 9 times out of 10 I do not get a signal in or near Baywalk. Everyone else I know with other carriers gets a signal. Sometimes my phone will search for another provider and end up with "Voicestream" but not often enough. Does this mean TMobile is actually *better* than AT&T?
