We live in Calhoun Co (off 274) but actually have a Bay County address. T-Mobile is NO WHERE signal wise in this area. Have to drive out our road, to 274, then to 167 then to Hwy. 231! We have an older pre-pay Virgin Mobile phone that will get a signal outisde, maybe one or two bars, but NADA from T-Mobile!

We had very good reception with 3 or 4 bars until the end of April. Since then we have 0 bars. I called repeatedly and was told various answers. The tower was down, it was fixed, the tower was discontinued, etc. They tried boosting my signal and that didn't work, said they would call back and never did, wasted a lot of my time, etc. They said I need a better phone, but that is incorrect because two other people here have other model phones and they have no service either. The last person I talked with finally admitted that the closest tower was now 10 miles away. We loved Cingular and had it for 5 yrs. Now I can't wait to get rid of it. I have no service here and can only use my phone when I'm away from home. I have been lied to and treated badly by this company after being a loyal customer for yrs. They just don't seem to care about their customers any more.

Most of the time I have no service and the rest maybe one bar. not enough to think you could hold a call if you made one. Somebody need to get busy and put up some towers in this area, I understand that it is in the plan, well it should be in the works! after all we're paying for it and getting nothing. and we should be informed on how much longer we have to wait until we get reception, other wise let us out of our contract, where we can get with someone who can give us good service!

When we had AT&T Wireles, we had no signal at all. We changed to Cingular and we had a signal. At last we could use our cell phones for work(oddly enough, we are both AT&T employees). That was October, 2004. Now in July, 2005, we have to drive to Panama City to see who left us voice mail. No bars at all! Nada. Nothing. Did the nearest tower walk away? Did the last tech up the tower lose their balance, grab a brace, and tilt the antenna? Seriously, we're upset. The calls to Cingular have produced nothing. We've talked to the customer reps and the network guys and no one know a thing. I guess taking THEIR cell phone and driving to here is too complicated a concept. It was suggested several times that I get a separate cell phone service for when I am in the Florida panhandle. Yup, that makes sense. Do I get the Batman Utility Belt in this deal? I thought a cell phone was a MOBILE PHONE.

As of this writing on Monday May 18th, 2009, all AT&T cellular coverage in Vernon, Florida has been out since Friday. I called AT&T on Friday and Saturday, was told they had a crew working on the tower. When the system actually works, I typically get 3 bars inside living about 8 miles from the actual tower. They have more dead spots here and there around the county than Sprint, but, the service cost less. I would have switched to Verizon by now, however, Verizon isn't set up on their end to port my number.

Only place I have run into signal issues in pcola so far... is at Miller's Ale House. Maybe it's because its down in the ravine, but even Sprint and tmob will pick up there usually. Outside you'll get 1-2 bars but inside, good luck
