I get horrible reception in that general area. I'm lucky if I get 1 bar. I contacted T-Mobile and they said things would improve. That was last May and still nothing. I have been loyal customer and now they won't help me get a phone with better reception without paying full price. Friends have Cingular (with different brands of phone) and they have full bars when they are in the same area. As soon as my contract is up I am leaving T-mobile.
I can tell time with my v360. It's 12:35pm and zero bars. It's the only clock I've had with a monthly fee. Two phone exchanges with Ten months in contact and only two months left. I am counting the days! Please reconsider going with t-mobile. Any other carrier will be less stress on you.
Reception is fine on the drive home from working in Kennewsaw but when I go inside the house I can only use my phone in certain spots in the house. I rent the basement and do not get reception. If I do get reception I lose it the minute I pick up the phone to answer the call. Quite a problem when your cell phone is your only phone. When I was with Verizon I got reception all throughout the house even the basement. Cingular is terrible both reception wise and customer service, even their management doesn't care. I will probably be going back to Verizon. Never had problems with them.
Verizon has low or NO reception all around this area. They confirmed it with their tech and won't add a tower. After 5 years with Verizon moving 4 phones to another career. Not Sprint had bad customer service with them before.

No reception at all on my street. It does not matter what phone you use. I have purchased 6 or 8 differant phones over the last ten years that I have lived here. I may get one or two bars if I stand in a chair on my porch.

we live on a hill and can see a tower from our home but we have NO signal bars on our phones. traveling to trion we only have 1 signal bar until we reach mount vernon mill in trion. we are very dissatisfide with Verizon and will change when our contract is up. the ''can you hear me now'' man definately missed this area! friends and family using Cingular have perfect reception here so I guess we will switch to cingular. with the price of mobile phone use someone must be pocketing the money because they sure not using it to improve service.

Can not make or recieve calls outside or between Kennesaw Hall and Burress Building. No signal. Other providers don't seem to have the problem that Cingular has.
