I am trying to find out if the reason for no reception inside buildings is because of my current phone or the service provider; and how to rectify this situation. I am tired of not being able to get a signal and make a call, when all around me with other service providers and phones are able to get connected.

Cedars Rd. / Kimwood Ct. intersection, Lawrenceville, GA 30043 Thu Dec 29, 2005

No reception at all on my RAZR or my wife's Nokia 6210i on Kimwood Court. Signal barely makes it to 1 bar at top of Kimwood as it intersects Cedars Road.

I get poor to no reception at home in Oakhurst with Cingular. I generally need to go out in the back yard to make a call if I don't want to get cut off. On the rare occasions I do get a decent signal, it's with a roaming surcharge. I'll definitely be switching once this contract is up.

i hate Cingular went from great (bell south) to poor (cingular bought them) to no reception (cingular and ATT join) and when you call they get you to reset ur phone (what to hell does that do anyway) then they tell me were upgradeing or network (just not anywhere your going to use your phone ever ) voice mail is about 2 days behind you have to drive under a tower to get ur phone to work. makes a handy paper weight for 69.99 a month plus media plan 9.99 obtw media network is always not available.

Norris Lake / Lake Dr. intersection, Snellville, GA 30039 Wed Dec 21, 2005

Reception in our home at Norris Lake has been ZERO since beginning service with Cingular in Sept 2003 which precludes emergency contact should the land line fail. My children visit with their Verizon coverage and have no difficulty. We use our cellfone primarily for travel; it is seldom on in the Atlanta area. Away from home reception has been generally good to include such locations as Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. We are considering a switch to Verizon to insure home coverage.

Val Del Rd., Hahira, GA 31632 Tue Dec 13, 2005

I lose reception almost as soon as I get on Val Del and don't have it again until I head back to Valdosta. It is patchy in some spots, but for the most part, no service is available.
