Nextel, like most other carriers just doesn't seem to have a clue about the growth in north Georgia. When I get to Jasper on Hwy. 515 my I860 becomes a paper weight.

Reception is non-existent around Hutcheson Ferry Rd. between Atlanta-Newnan Rd. and Watkins Rd. T-Mobile maps show there should be coverage. After a 38 minute phone call to T-Mobile, they told me they would send an engineer out to the area to survey the signal strength. Nextel seems to be the only carrier that works in this area.

Once leaving Columbus, once you get to County Line Rd.in Harris County the reception goes completely out. Apparently there are no towers there. My in-laws live in this area and it is a slight bother. We make do though, because we live in Columbus and we love T-Mobile. But if there's anyone who lives in these areas, I hate to say that T-Mobile is just not for you.
In any Wal-Mart in Columbus, you cannot get reception with T-Mobile. It is also poor in other stores, but for some reason there is no or very little reception inside Columbus Wal-Marts. However, you can step outside and it works fine. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints with T-Mobile. I love them!

I have loved the phone for 5 years and have never replaced the battery. I just can not get a signal here. I was a AT&T customer, which I still am.Can not get Cingular service here, but I have to write a check to Cingular since they took over AT&T.Cingular said they were not going to be in Baxley and I would have to get service some where else.

Have complained to Verison But Have been given the run around. They said they would check the problem and get back to me but never did. They also said they would end my oblication with them if they could not satisfy me but they haven't. I still have poor coverage with them. But when my contract is up with them I will never use there service again.
