to add to comment. there is per this web site a Cingular tower less than 1 / 4 mile from my home.

stuck in contract for 2 years. no reception at home, no reception in may areas in town, then start driving around area. great reception in florida. why can't georgia be fixed.

Thinking about installing roof-mount antenna at home to use phone. Cingular said it will be 2 years before they install more towers here. Installing antenna will be much cheaper than cancelling phone.

I have ZERO signal.

I have to walk to the street to even find 1 bar, if this is what you call raising the bar then keep your stinking bars.

There is no service, phone is stuck on "searching" indefinitely. Terrible customer service, will not let you out of your contract no matter what, even within the "14 day trial window." Has no agreement to even use other carrier's towers. Worthless provider for Ft. Benning, Ga.

No reception in my office unless I stand by the window or go outside. This will bring me to two bars. I have missed calls, voice mail messages arrive days late. What a way to live... Cingular has oversold!

Something is wrong here. I have o bars like all the time. sometimes outside the home I have one or two bars. I contacted my carrier and they told me their is nothing they can do for me. I just got my cell phone and I cant use it period. I wanted this phone in replace of my home phone and now I cant use it. what do I do? I dont travel much outside of jonesboro and their is o reception here. when I go to morrow or fayetteville I have a little reception but not much. I hope Cingular sees this message and starts doing something about us here in jonesboro, we need more towers please. were not paying for service for nothing. Along U.S 1. in Baxley. zero bars. No reception. Nothing for Cingular.

Each time I am passing through down town Kennesaw, I loose signal at or very close to the rail road tracks. Also, the coverage in that immediate area is very poor.
