This sevrice, if that is what you want to cell it sucks I cant believe that they tell you oh you will have great service. That is a big joke.If I get service its because I went outside and have to hope that it isnt going to rain that day I might as well get on the roof. We have 4 phones so all of us would look stupid on the roof joke was on us the day I signed that contract.
There is no consistency - have been told the further east I go it would get fewer bars, but I never have a problem at Tybee (can't go further east than that), Wilmingon Island (home) is sketchy. Those I know who have Verizon get reception when no other phone in the vicinity does. Have 5 AT&T phones, one by one, as contracts expire, will switch.

If I put my phone in a window on a certain side of the house I may or may not get two bars but its useless anywhere else inside. If I'm talking to someone when I pull in the driveway I will maintain reception but if I get off and try to call out I can't. If I stand on my head while wrapped in aluminum with my tongue stuck out on the left side of my mouth I might get one bar. We've called and they acted surprised but then called us back and said there was not a tower anywhere in the vicinity. They let us cancel our plan without charging us the $250.

No reception despite the fact T mobile coverage map shows good reception. Get 5 bars in my house but cannot receive or make calls and phone just keeps flashing searching. T mobile very slow to respond to several emails I've made.
I will be so glad when additional cell towers are added to my area, as I currently have extremely poor to absolutely no reception. I live on Tommie Rd, halfway between Bartley Rd and Baughs Cross Rd, and refer to this area as "cellular no man's land". I have NEVER had a single bar of reception when making or receiving calls from my home. Before purchasing my first cell phone in 2003, I obtained loaner phones from every cell provider in LaGrange to test them for reception here at home, but not one of them ever registered a single bar! I researched phones on the Internet for those touted to have the best reception, and finally chose the Motorola i850. It does great in most other areas around town, but is virtually useless most of the time here at home. I need the cell when away from home, so I feel forced to pay for a service that I cannot use a great deal of the time. In addition, I am unable to reduce my costs by removing my land line or even by removing the long distance coverage from that line. On the rare occasion that I am able to get a signal at all, I am forced to move about the house or yard in an effort to get a stronger signal, and greater than 20% of my calls are dropped completely. I don't feel this is a phone problem, rather it's a signal problem. When I see the multiple towers in the intown area, I feel cheated that no attention is paid to those of us who live in rural areas of LaGrange. Hoping for a better future, Rhonda Colemon

Had good reception for 7 years, in the past year the recepion of ATT has gone to zero. ATT would do nothing to resolve or to waive cancelllation fees. What other sevice based provider can stop service and yet still get paid and enforce contract terms? Dishonest.
