I moved to this area in July 2010. I did not have any problems until last week. Sprint can not tell me what is going on. I have to repeatedly shut my phone off to try to get reception. Out of 100%, I can make call less that 5% of the time. Srint wants me to take my phone in to their repair location, but here in GA, you are guaranteed to be waiting in a Sprint store at least 4 hours. Been there, done that, on several occasions. I think there is something wrong in the area because it's not just my phone. It happens to my husband's phone, and my sister's phone whenever we are in this area. Sprint needs to step up to the plate and find out what is going on. If there were an emergency, I don't even know if I'll be able to call the police. for almost 2 weeks now, my phone either says: can not find network, no service and / or roaming. I never had an issue before and now Sprint says it MY phone that has the problem. SO WHY IS IT THAT ANY SPRINT PHONE IN THIS AREA ACTS THE SAME WAY?

There is no signal here at all. Don't try to make a call. I live near here and have been fighting with AT&T since I fist got the phone. I know the iPhone is a crappy phone but neighbors who have AT&T get drops or garbled calls on my street. I will always get "Searching" or "No Signal" and if I get a signal it maybe 3G but also flips to Edge. AT&T won't do anything and won't let me out of my contract, so the phone is often useless in my area, even for 911. Don't get AT&T! I'm going back to Verizon.

can not make or receive calls on the Sprint network from my house! I am roaming all the time, even though Sprint says I should have good signal strength. I switched from AT&T after 7 years because of their poor customer service and bad reception in hinesville. I will be switching from Sprint as well.

Holiday Inn, Peachtree City, GA 30269 Wed Jan 26, 2011

Absolute zero reception during the business day. Some coverage at night. But unable to make business calls during the day. This is unacceptable. I understand there are not many cell towers in the area and that the local government is not very cooperative about letting new ones go up. This in not business friendly at all. I'll not stay in Peachtree again unless I confirm the cell service has improved.

I either get 1 bar or none. It continually switches back from 3G to E (edge) If I take the phone out of my house, the problem persists until I start walking down the street. Often on a fully-charged phone, I get a "no service" signal. I had my phone replaced and have spent several hours on the phone with AT and T and Apple. It is not a hardware issue. But AT and T is not dealing with the issue.

Vacationed on Tybee recently and had virtually zero service on the island, except at the IGA parking lot, which became my mobile office location. Are considering moving there, but would have to dump AT&T for sure. Terrible.

I live in the front area of Carriage Park Subdivison. I have complained to T-Mobile about poor reception, but they cannot help me. I get either 1 or no bars on my phone. I walk throughout the house to find a spot where I can get reception to make a phone call. I also miss several calls that were made to me, and only learn about them when they appear as a missed call or voicemail. The Samsung phone is not the problem. My wife and son have the same problems with Nokia phones. All phones work fine when we leave the area.

Temple High School, Temple, GA 30179 Sat Nov 13, 2010

T-mobile has no reception if you are not near the major highways. My travel destinations take me to small Georgia towns, north and south of Columbus GA. No reception north of LaGrange GA in Franklin GA. The coverage map has proven to be very inaccurate.

NO or very poor reception in my apt for last two weeks. Lived here for 6 months and never had a problem... had to go outside to call AT&T... and the call dropped! Finally got through... the operator said THREE TOWERS were out in the area... of course they were scheduled to be fixed days ago, but still not up yet. She said give it 48 hours.

Midcoast Regional Airport, Hinesville, GA 31313 Tue Oct 05, 2010

Midcoast Regional Airport is a relatively new airport that was formerly all military (Wright Army Airfield), but now lots of civilian commercial flights are arriving, and no one can use their cell phones if they are on AT&T. Other networks work there.
