I rarely ever get signal. I think the only network that extends out here is GSM 850, which my phone does not support.

Had excellent reception at home with Cingular, but since ATT took over reception dropped to nearly zero to absolutely non-existant at home. Now it is just about totally unusable at home, hve to travel almost into Centerville to begin getting any reception at all.

Low or no service in the Dee Kennedy Rd. to County Line area on Hwy. 211 NW

0 or 1 bar at all times and frequently in "SOS Mode" or "No Service". My wife has the same issue with her Treo 650. AT&T's coverage is complete sh*t in Georgia. I came from Los Angeles where it was great. I have tin cans and string that work better than the AT&T network in Georgia. Good job guys! Keep up the stellar work!

Please don't be fooled by T-mobiles good deals. It's not worth all the trouble. I signed up for a trial period with them and I didn't get any reception in my dorm(Southern Polytechnic State University). I advise you to not use them if you live in the Marietta area. Doesn't matter what phone model you have because you will still have bad service in this area. Verizon has great service and I think that you would be best with that. I have never had dropped calls on Verizon. Their plans are a little more expensive but I'd rather pay more for services that work than less for service that doesn't work(huh..uh Tmobile).

No reception of any service from At&T in this area. Poor reception in the city it self and this city has a major college with a large student body all sales are going to verizon. shame of that being AT&T has better phones, but no service. The Public school system had to resort to a contract with Verizon because of service in and out of buildings.

No reception in North Blue Ridge, have to wait until I am approx 3 mi South before service is available.

No reception by anyone but cincular and they only work in this area not in the rest of Jefferson Co. Occassional 1 bar from Alltel and verizon

ALL cellular carrier's represent a fraud of service to most residential areas and rural areas outside of Hinesville's commercial areas, major hwy's and of course the Army base of Ft. Stewart, home of Army 3rd Infantry Division. For most all other areas you have to leave your house and walk or drive to areas where you can get and maintain a signal worthy of placing a call without it being dropped. All major companies are located here and anxious to sell you a phone and their services, but could care less that it is mostly useless! The city and county godfathers are currently busy drafting municipal codes to further limit cell communications towers citing them as unpleasant eyesores... in a community that is unpleasant to look at, by any standard, due to it's rural setting and poverty rate. Nobody in government cares, so it's likely to not be any better anytime soon! Everybody owns cell phones, but few can use them as a tool of modern communications around here with any level of "convenience"... .SAD! In the meantime ALL the carriers sell's their phones and services to everybody with not a hint to the unsuspecting that only a few can conveniently use them as expected or intended.
