Total dead zone for Cingular in and around Lakeside High School. It won't work at all inside the building and no bars in the parking lot either. Go about 1 / 2 mile up the road and there is full signal, so it's a localized problem.

No reception in my office. Cingular told me over a year ago it would improve. Has not. Marginal reception at my house 1 / 2 mile away. Reception in vehicle is ok but still drop calls here in town. Co-workers Verizon works great in the our office and they don't even sell Verizon phones in this immediate area. Can't wait to tell Cingular or AT&T to hit the road when contract is up.
My LG phone would not get more than 1 bar signal at ANY time in Kingsland. My wife's Nokia (both on VW) would go as high as 2, but dropped calls frequently. Called Verizon's Customer Service line and they even said that they would cancel our contract if my work relocated me to that area because they have NO SERVICE in Kingsland / St. Marys. I don't know what happened between 2005 and 2007, but VZW is POOR in that area!
All carriers have a "dead zone" anywhere around the edge of Lake Allatoona. This location is no exception. Verizon's signal will occasionally drift in, then drift out. 90% of the time, there is no reception AT ALL at our home on Allatoona Trail!
