Verizon service center suggested I pay for a device to add to my computer that would enhance my cell service at the low price of $249.99. My responce... "Can you hear me now,"Your cell service should be what is advertised and NO I can't hear you now. Not pay $249.99 for your company to do what it advertises. It's not hard! Either make phones for difficult areas or put up another tower... pretty simple. Will look for another phone carrier than put up with being raked for services not as advertised, however they should realize that the nearest city sets in a bowl (low) area, towers need to be out of the bowl for area service. That's not hard to figure out either. Very disappointed in an American Company!

Almost NO service in my house... East window upstairs will provide enough signal to get voice mails, change settings... Calling really iffy. Verizon (previous carrier) just as bad. I'm in a dead zone... 1 / 2 block in any direction is great signal!

I've purchased a Palm Pre from Sprint, but could not complete the activation process because the phone went to roaming and I needed connection to the Sprint network to set my profile. I tried both inside and outside my home, without success. Now I shall have to fight Sprint to cancel the transaction and return the phone.
i am thinking of taking the hit for exiting out of my contract early. terrible reception. from 2 bars to 0 by the time I press talk. good news is that I am able to live a cell phone free life.
Use to be a billboard here: "Can you here me now?" Got no reception. Same results with different phones. Switched to AT&T and had much better reception.

AT&T has NO SIGNAL, 2000 new students, their parents and friends can't get cellphone signals from AT&T. They will switch to other carrier if signal is NOT improved around the Northwestern University.
My parents live in Palestine, Il, when we go to visit, which isn't often we get NO SERVICE with our Sprint service. This is absolutely ridiculous in this day and age, with all the new technology available. Even when I switch to roam, NO SERVICE. I am extremely disappointed, I don't understand how a community like this can survive with such limited technology. My parents have Verizon, and they have to drive 3-4 blocks to even use their cell. Why would Verizon even offer service to an area with such shotty service. What's embarrassing is Jiiterbug has service in Palestine while Sprint, T-mobile, and Verizon don't. I feel for anyone that chooses to stay in this small rural town for many reasons. A big reason most of the people that live there don't even realize what they are missing with the new technology now available.
