Anywhere on Riverwoods Rd between Brampton Ln (3 / 4 mile north of Rt 22) and Portwine offers no coverage, or one bar which is unable to punch a call through. I live in this area and cannot make or receive calls from my home unless on the second floor, and that is unreliable.

Some days, one or two bars (of five), but on as many others "No Service" or zero bars, even which right next to any of three tall, street-level windows in separate rooms.

My understanding is there are only 2 AT&T towers in the Peoria area, that's why the lousy coverage. I have been told that 2 more towers are to come online, but not sure of timing. Weird, I used to have Sprint and when I would come to Peoria, I thought coverage was bad. Little did I know... .

24 / 25 Dec 09. ALL Cell phones in and around my home lost. Killed ALL power to my home and still no Bars on anyones phone in and around my home. SOMETHING is wrong. Power co. will not do a thing. Next step is to kill the power to this block and see who is killing the cell phone reception. All my friends are stumped on what it could be, but it is now a BIG dead zone.

Jefferson / Adams, Chicago, IL 60661 Wed Dec 23, 2009

The worst service I have ever had in my life. I've only had the service for a couple of months and I'm breaking the contract ASAP. Everytime I go to use the phone it says No Service or Searching. When people call me it goes directly to voicemail. My advice for anyone living in the city, DO NOT USE AT&T!
