T-Mobile has a HUGE dead spot in this complex, but it is especially bad as I am at the bottom of a hill, almost as if my apartment were placed in a ravine. In the parking lot, I can get 2 bars, but then it drops to nothing again on Grand for about 1000 feet around the complex. Then it's great reception as you get closer to Gurnee or more towards Cedar Lake.

Verizon has so many tickets in the issue they said I can opt out of my plan because of documentation of poor signal.

I live on Country Club Rd.West of the Main Mall of C'dale. I could call home from there; however, could not understand calls received or sent from my home.

No reception between the 30th and 40th floors, although I wonder if any carrier would have reception there.

Data card EVDO service useless in this area. No coverage at all.

Cingular is very poor in this area. TDMA service went from full service down to 1 / 0 bars this past year as they decommission TDMA and may beef up the GSM network. We'll see. Unusable for now, though had to switch carriers.

Little to no reception. Dropped calls are the rule.

I get zero bars inside my apartment. I can occasionally make calls, but if I talk longer than 5 minutes, 90% of them get dropped.

In downtown Glen Ellyn, T-Mobile has been dead.

I wanted a U Prepaid Alltel phone but you have no coverage in Pekin,IL so I went to U.S. Cellular :(
