Floats between 3 and 0. I never have sen such terrible fluctuation in signal strength with any carrier. I always get cut off so I don't even bother answering a call. Need to use a land line.

I dont know why T-Mobile is even selling their sevice here. You go into a store, you lose signal. You lose it all together once you are 1 mile westof town. I dont know how far you have to go to get it back. I went 25 miles and didnt get anything. In Freeport its spotty. depending on where you are. It seems on the west or north of town the signal is strong. Just hope you dont break down on US 20 because the phone isnt going to bail you out

Little or no reception at all around this part of Wheaton. I do not have landline and have to get in my car and drive to another town until I can get a signal.

Rt 13 and Lewis Lane, Carbondale, IL 62901 Tue Aug 23, 2005

It's unfortunate that I discovered after the internship of my daughter that T-Mobile is not functioning in Carbondale((NO RECEPTION ) and for those students planning on attending SIU, parents and student should research ahead of time specially those who are far away from home. NO future installment of T-Mobile towers as validated by T-Mobile company. Reflect your zip code now we are in process of obtaining another provider. T- mobile is great anywhere else since we travel a lot except for Carbondale,Illinois.

T-mobile has been THE WORST phone carrier and service provider I have ever had. I get NO reception in my home and my reception fades in and out. When I am around trees, I loose calls or fade in and out. As far as customer service goes, they are terrible! I have NO IDEA how they ever received the JD Powers Customer Service award. I have called numerous times complaining about their "call forwarding" option so I at least can receive calls when there is no reception. They told me that I was doing it wrong, even though they walked me through the procedure 3 times, and then made me drive to 3 store locations to have someone check it because they didn't believe me and their customer phone service couldn't do anything about it. When I reached the store, I was then told someone would be calling me to credit me for the months I have been "call forwarding" and not getting the credit. It has been over 8 weeks and still not one person has called. I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone.

This has to be the worst cellphone co. in the entire world. I got absolutely no reception in or around my apartment. I have to go down like 3 blocks before I can even dial out or hold a signal. When I called asking for assistance, their customer service are as horrible as their signal is. I will never ever refer anyone to Cingular and I cancelled my plan already. NO ONE GET CINGULAR!
