It worked a little the first day, now I can't get any reception at all. Especially at home (Damen and Division), at my boyfriend's house (Milwaukee and Wood), or at work (North and Damen). I'm taking it back tomorrow.

Couldn't believe it. Completely DEAD Zone!

2 year Nokia worked just fine.

Major, half-day blackout along the I-294 interstate! I could not believe it, the network was down from Waukegan, though Deerfield, Northbrook, Glenview and Niles. This is my third provider in 5 years, but the service is spotty (in the NW Suburbs of Chicago), there are locations I ALWAYS get the call dropped, at home the signal is so weak I practically cannot use the phone. The WORST provider, based on many inquiries with friends and colleagues. Stay away from this company!

T-Mobile customer representative confirmed that there is a service outage in Illinois and other states.

Dundee Rd - either east or west bound from apporx Pfingston to Milwaukee Ave (route21) numerous drop spots and poor spots on both cell or direct connect radio. never had this problem on ATT Wireless (gant phone) Verizon / onstar works great!

No Sprint reception here at all!

it seemed liek the entire city of dekalb illinois was a virtual dead zone for cingular. In and around northern illinois university and the surrounding areas I had no reception at all. My friend that attends NIU had Cingular but was forced to switch to Verizon because of horrible reception. Even with Cingular he gets an average of 1 bar and topping out at 2

I hate cingular, but no more than I hate At&T. I hate them equally. I spent $250 on a new LG phone that doesn't get reception ANYWHERE! I can be anywhere in Chicago, or Florida, or anywhere else that I travel to for that matter. No reception. Now I'm going to have to pay for another 2 year contract if I want a different phone. NEVER BUY LG!
