No service with T-Mobile in Chatham area, got to be near woodside road going toward springfield for service. Works great in Springfield though.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Cingular. I cannot use my phone in my house or neighborhood. I have tried 2 phones now and will exchange this for the Nokia 3120 tomorrow. Lets hope that works a little better at least. Why can't AT and T convert their old towers to accommodate Cingular reception? They spent huge bucks with full page ads in the Chi. Tribune and on prime time tv singing the praises of all the bars of reception we can get. Its all lies. I am so sorry I gave up my T-Mobile plan. It worked very well here

I go anywhere near Lake Cook Rd.and Mchenry intersection I get zero reception on my blackberry phone, no matter the model or whether it was AT&T or Cingular as the provider.

I don't believe I've ever seen a single bar while inside my apartment. Most incoming calls fail to generate a ring. More than half the calls I make from inside are lost after three or four minutes. Reception on the street is better, but still very poor: one bar at most.

I cant select the Cingular network using the Manual Network selection option in Nokia. I just see a couple of networks when I search for available networks. 1) T Mobile 2) AT&T Wireless And since my provider is Cingular I am not able to register with either of these providers.

Dead for a 2 block radius, just this past week. Was pretty week before that, maybe a 2. Still dead, and Verizon people don't seem to believe me. No signal at all, or fluctuates between full and no in 2 seconds, constantly.

I am so frustrated with this service. I get on the freakin kennedy and I cannot have a conversation. If I am able to get a call out, I definatley cannot carry on a conversation. Its the worst. I want to switch so badly I can't even explain the frustration I have. NEXTEL is "DONE" in my book. THE WORST

It's pathetic when you have no signal in your own home. The connection also drops out in various suburbs as I commute to work. I'd hate to get a flat when I have no signal! I don't know if the problem is the phone or the service, but Nextel put their name on the equipment so they should make sure it works!
