from penntown to milan and over to almost manchester there is no service in this area... there must be a provider that offers something better than this

No Sprint reception anywhere within city limits. Service is handed off to roaming with Verizon Wireless (which has great service in Winamac).

No reception is available in Demotte by the license branch. Service goes in and out (zero bars though) and will not hand off to roaming on Verizon (Verizon Wireless has 3 bars out here). Sprint is terrible along Rt. 2 in Demotte.

Absolutely no reception on west side of Purdue campus. One bar of service is available on east side of campus but calls always drop easily.

Major highway yet several miles of no coverage at all. Dangerous! In today's day and age there is no excuse for a company like Nextel to lack coverage anywhere.

I cannot get any reception inside the hotel. If I want to make a call I have to go outside and even then it is really a weak signal.

As another subscriber said, there's only reception when you stand outside and on top of a hill without moving. No reception inside buildings. Voicemails do not show until you turn onto Adams Rd. My phone even has a pull out antenna and recieves reception in areas where most others cannot, but there's still no service in Knollwood. An employee at Verizon Wireless once explained that it was because there IS service avaiable, but it is considered roaming and since Verizon doesn't charge for roaming, they simply cut your reception in roaming areas as their way of not charging you. It could also be due to the lack of towers thanks to residents who do not want a cell tower impeding their magnificent view of some nearby trees.

The 12 mile stretch between Batesville and St. Leon on Interstate 74 has absolutely no reception whatsoever if you are travelling between Cincinnati and Indianapolis... .What a mess!
