I recently went from AT&T svc. on a similar Motorola flip phone to a T-Mobile V180 Tri-band in hopes I would improve reception, but now I got a totally worthless phone because now I have no reception at all. I even tried the few specific areas that I knew my old phone worked at. The result -- zero, nothing, zip, no reception at all.

Black Hole for Nextel. Calls drop often.

Starts cutting out just south of Scipio and continues out till you almost get to the Barthowlemew County line. Have a Radio Shack mobile antenna that helps out but this still needs to be looked at.

No carrier has been able to master Lake Shore Dr.

Between Hwy. 261 on Hwy. 66 and until Alcoa, reception is not reliable and in many segments reception is 0!

There is absolutely no signal with Sprint PCS in my little town!

I have nationwide calling plan, but my phone doesn't work here. Plus I experience a lot of dropped calls even in the Ohio area where my phone should work the best.

Reception in and near the city of North Vernon is Good to Average. There is usually no reception in Scipio and little or no reception in Lovett / Commiskey area. We get spotty reception in the Hayden area. We also have a Siemens phone and a Samsung SGH-X427 and they both have a little better reception than the Motorola. We previously had a Nokia and reception was much better with it, wished we wouldn't have changed. My mother-in-law lives in Sardina (near Westport) and was a Verizon customer. She had NO reception through Verizon but switched to Cingular and purchased a Motorola (not sure what model) and has had perfect reception. I hope this helps.

Awful reception. Once in a blue moon we get reception, but then it is so crackly that you end up getting disconnected anyway. We may switch to Verizon, which seems to get good reception.

Totally dead when at home or anywhere near this area.
