This is the only place where I have not been able to get good service from verizon. If you are lucky enough to get a bar or two, it drops the call. When we complain to Verizon, they could care less. We were forced to get a land line from SBC so we could get calls. Apparently the cost of a new tower out that way is more than the revenue they lose in people dropping their service.

No reception on the south end of Lake Wawasee. It gets servicable as we move northward towards US-6. Depending on where you're located, it may or may not be a good choice. This is the only place I've been unable to use Sprint. Of course, I'm not a big traveler.

It kind of confuses me to read positive ratings about Cingular on this site. My experience with AT&T and subsequently with Cingular has been nothing short of pathetic. Coverage would appear to be non-existent in Bloomington. There's always talk of new towers and better coverage, but in the 2 years I've been here there hasn't been a noticable improvement in service. To top it off, customer service is laborious and unhelpful. DO NOT invest in a Cingular phone if you live in Bloomington.

There is no reception at all in Penntown, and the surrounding area..

No reception at my house. Cingular blames my phone for that, but I get great reception everywhere else. Pendleton / Fortville area is horrible.

No signal at all! There is no Sprint tower around which Virgin Mobile runs on.

No bars in West Baden, parts of French Lick, between here and Jasper, and numerous locations we vacation to across the USA. And we're supposed to get a Casino here! Nobody will get out on their cell phone! Where are your "bars" Cingular????

there is no reception on US 50 when traveling thru hayden I travel this daily and I loose service every day! please look into this

Seems reception has really gone down in this unit. Lately, I can't make nor receive calls while inside my home or in any other building. My family, who subscribe to other services, seem to have no problem at all.
