The reason reception in Granger stinks is because the community has been fighting against the installation of new cell phone towers. You want better reception, get involved with the local zoning boards so we can get some more towers!

for such a populated area you would think that the reception would be great but you get no service between 126th and just north of 146th. oh well Nextel maybe you aren't the greatest!
Our reception in town is spotty at best with service going in and out while standing still. When you go out by Walmart and Pizza Hut, there is absolutely no service what so ever.
Sprint is horrible in this area. I am lucky to get two bars. My friend has Verizon and it seems to be okay. Sprint is horrible but they handcuff you with their contracts.
Mostly get "searching system", no signal. Sometimes 1 bar. Go a couple of miles any direction and signal is better. I don't think Verizon likes us much (no DSL, and no plans for it either).
