My phone works perfectly in Ames, Des Moines, Waterloo, and Fort Dodge (Where I work), but at home I get no signal what so ever. The only place in Greene County (I live in this county) I can get a signal is about two miles north of the Greene / Guthrie county line on HWY 4. When I go home to Churdan it cuts out midway between HWY's 175 and 20 on County Rd.P29. In Carroll it THINKS about working. It doesn't say "No Network" but it thinks about it (as if it is going into a towered area). But also my phone doesn't work in Storm Lake at all don't even ask.

when phone / plan purchased specifically asked if Decorah and Ossian, Iowa were in coverage area. A family emergency confirmed they are not. Thankfully, was able to use daughter's T-Mobile to contact family. Contacted Spirit got no valid answer and was told we could terminate plan for $300.

Used to get poor reception with my old Nokia phone, but got a new Motorola, now nothing at all. I have to go to the top of the hill to get just poor now.

I have no service at my aunt's apartment but I have service on highway 30

GSM just plain sucks in this town.

Don't count on T-Mobile / Cingular to work here, however there is a new GSM tower coming soon.

Don't count on making any calls anywhere in the area, and if you do happen to get a signal don't count on a call to last.

There is about a 12 mile stretch north of Mt. Pleasant with no service at all. The sony Ericsson phone is allmost 2 yrs. old it is hard to hear any conversation plus I get alot of background gargle while when talking

No reception inside DSB. Similar observation in most University Hospital Buildings.

Absolutely no coverage on Ivy Drive / Broadway for Cingular phones. Cingular can do nothing about this.
