My in-laws see a lot less of my kids because I cannot be away from cellular coverage. I would pay for a tower here if somebody would service it!

On Hiway 81 from Concordia, KS to York, NE there is no service at all for any mobile phone.

There is no Sprint reception in or around the town of Scandia.

Have complained about zero reception in Atchison, KS to Verizon. Gerri Linus at (847) 289-3501 says a tech person went out there to check out the complaint and was able to pick up an analog signal using the Cingular tower in Atchison. We still have 1 1 / 2 yrs into Verizon contract for my freshman son at Benedictine. We will probably will have to get him a Cingular plan. We are giving it one last try when we go out there next week.

Service in virtually non existant yet Alltel tell you that it is covered. Have to get in just the right spot in the back yoard an then can connect for a few moments. Their people came out and checked and said the same thing, no service. Alltel still wants 200.00 a phone to cancell so don't beleive thier hype about coverage area in Central or Western Kansas.

Notta, None, Dont even think of AT&T. They're not raising the Bar out here! Dead as dead can be. Cell phone is only useful as an Alarm Clock and Time piece. Hope you read this before purchasing

I was shocked to find zero Verizon coverage in Atchison. Kansas City which is only 35 miles away gets perfect service. Verizon claims they have extended service in Atchison, but they have none. They claim they have it through All-tel towers but the nearest All-tel tower I can find is 25 miles away in Everest, KS. Also, All-tel's coverage map indicates they have roaming service in this area, so I don't know how they could provide service for Verizon if they can't even provide it for themselves! Verizon we need you here!

I can hardly get any bars on my phone. I called T-Mobile and they said that the problem was with the phone. However, I just don't believe so. My Nokia 6280 is a triband, dual mode, GSM on the 900,1400 and 1900 Mhz Frequency. That is where I think the problem. Lawrence uses the 850Mhz frequency that Cingular(AT&T) also happens to work at( However, I stand corrected). I'm planning to get a Nokia 6270 which is a quadband phone and which will hopefully get me better reception.

Poor coverage on the street with garbled audio and frequent drops. Even worse in the car with same symptoms as on the street, but more frequent. No reception inside the house at all. Customer Service is very un-professional.
