Most of the time we have no reception in our house. Ocassionally the phone will ring but only once and then rolls to voice mail. We have never had two bars in our house and I don't recall if we have ever had 4 bars anywhere. I climbed the roof of our house and got three bars standing on our roof. We live at 125th and Walmer.

Have 2 of the SAME phone. Relocated to Clearwater from Colorado Springs, CO. Phones worked fine in Colorado. RARELY (maybe a few days a MONTH without a service problem) have service on 1 of the phones, never have with both service, constant dropped calls, constant loss or not able to connect to service. Verizon told me it was my phone... said the second one was working fine... and NEITHER had service! We have 2 other towers closer to us and we can not even receive ROAMING service! Husbands work related phone (AT&T) works fine.

If you have SPRINT -- don't even plan on getting a text message here.

I would very much like to have AT&T cellular service at my service address above. When I've had visitors with AT&T service, they've always shown full bars while here and about in Ellsworth. Therefore, certainly wonder why I can't have the service added. Thanks for listening. Kathy Beem

No Verizon reception in Englewood, KS and far south into Oklahoma. Reception (1X only) is fair near the cell towers 2 mi and 10 mi North of town.

In certain parts of town you can get a signal, however most of this area, service sucks and there is no sign of any service changes. I would not recommend T Mobile in this area for sure.

I have been with Verizon Wireless for 6 years. I switched from ATT Wireless before they were bought out by Cingular. I have been happy with the service thus far. However, since they formally anounced the integration of the Alltel network, my service has dropped SEVERELY. I cannot make phone calls inside of my house, and can barely get service outside of it. I have been told that this should improve in September, but I am doubtful. However, Verizon Wireless will continue to enjoy my loyalty because they treat their customers as such and not as a disposable money bag.

Atchison has no Verizon reception, we were shocked to find out. They had to let us out of the contract on my son's phone who is a student at Benedictine College. He has AT&T and has perfect service. After our Verizon contract expired the rest of us (4 phones) all switched to AT&T and couldn't be happier.

Get this... . last year my son at college in KS didn't have any Verizon reception, but we got by with the land line in the college dorm. August 22 he went back to school and Verizon reception was great, right from his dorm room! Now, at the end of the week, no reception. He said the rumor is that Verizon had moveable towers in the area. That sounds very fishy, but the customer service rep said there is full coverage according to the Verizon map... ... This summer I had 2 kids traveling, one to Alaska and the other New Jersey and had no reception problems, no dropped calls. Today, seven hours south in KS, no reception! Grrrrr.

It is a piece of crap that Nextel does not cover Saint Mary's, they want to bull crap us by saying they are the best and together with Sprint, they are not whatsoever together anymore or what??? there is a big tower near by... and it does NOTHING to Nextel service.
