Taylorsville Lake Road, Between Jefferson County a, Louisville, KY 40299 Mon Apr 03, 2006

Reception is nothing between Jefferson County and Taylorsville. It is spotty in some places but no service most of the time. Service in Louisville and Taylorsville both are excellent. No problems.

Laketon Rd. / @ Beech Grove Rd. intersection, Bardwell, KY 42023 Sat Mar 11, 2006

This area truly needs a cell tower. I know in the winter when the lines freeze and snap we have no hard line / home phone service for days at a time. The reception is minimal at best. I am aware of a great location just down the road west of me. It is the last parcel of open land on the west side of the street, just before Laketon Rd.drives down in to the bottoms. I am not sure the owner would be willing, but its only 1 1 / 2 acres with an open shed housing a combine and some implements. It is on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi river valley into Missouri. This tower could help Cingular users in Western Kentucky, Eastern Missouri, Southern Illinois, and possibly parts of Tennessee and Arkansas. -Harney Forkelsteen, Laketon, Ky.-

At this intersection a school is located (Pine Mountain Settlement School). Visitors and persons staying there along with this whole area have no or very little reception. WE NEED MORE TOWERS! It would be nice to be able just to connect so we could say can you hear me now.

Phone will ring and show I have a call, but can't pick up enough signal to talk. Often goes to voice mail straight. What a pain!

Dorton US 23, Dorton, KY 41520 Tue Feb 21, 2006

No reception at all in Dorton, Kentucky. Why am I paying Cingular every month when my phone doesn't even have reception? I have to drive 10 miles just to get three bars then drive back home when my phone call is finished. I'm switching to Appalachian Wireless.

Have to travel two blocks to get a weak signal. Service has been deteriorating within last two years. I have had Verizon for more than six years. Thinking of moving to Cingular, as it had four bars on wife's Nokia in our house. T-Mobile also works on daughters phone in house.
