AT&T may have more bars, they just aren't where we need them. We have no reception at home plus AT&T drops us all the time. We can be sitting on Scottsville Rd in town and have no service. I was in the AT&T office the other day and now once you leave with your new phone it is yours. Any problem and you have to contact warranty not the store.

I can not make a call in my house or on my driveway, lots of dropped calls, call ended screen frequently shown, unable to call house phone. When talking over the problem at the AT&T store in the Summit I am told there are no problems being reported. We have 3 cell phone on this account and ALL are experiencing trouble.
When we first got a cell phone with Cingular the reception was fairly good except in Sparta -- there is no service there at all and going to Owenton you would have 2 bars most of the way. Now you have no service all the way to Owenton and out past Owenton going to Dry Ridge or going to Frankfort. It wasn't too bad til AT&T took over but now its the pits. I live on top of a hill with open access and have no service even though a tower is only 3 miles away but I can go to my son's house back in the boonies with trees and power lines every where and have service. Go figure.I think AT&T's service is below par and their prices are outrageous for the service you get. Bellsouth and Cingular should have never merged with AT&T
Phone service here is horrid. Well below adequate. This phone gets no service even outside. My Motorola V551 performs horribly too, with many dropped calls. I must travel on HWY 60 a quarter of a mile to even begin to get a signal worth having.
