I think AT&T needs 2 get more towers up they say they cover 97% of the US. I honestly don't believe that... . They need 2 get more towers up and stop being so cheap

No reception at all unless you stand in the corner with your head tilted to the side... and I'm not making it up. It's great service everywhere else but not in this area. Everyone out here who has a phone that works, uses Verizon.

Drops calls every time for the past year I've been with AT&T. I was with T-Mobile and never dropped calls on I-71. AT&T Network stinks.

Supposedly AT&T was going to put a tower on Foggy Mountain last year, but has never been done. Then there was talk about going onto Appalachian wirelsess's tower, but, that hasn't happened either. Appalachian user can use their phone in my home! When I called AT&T and asked about it, the girl mentioned something about a "bat law"? WTH is that?? Something about bats flying during the season. AT&T = epic FAIL!

Lost AT&T cell signal at my home on 11 / 9 / 09. Up until that date, I had great reception. I called AT&T Tech Support and was told since their merger with another company they were required to turn off some of their towers. Apparently, there is not going to be any quick fix to the problem until new towers are built in the problem areas. I did manage to get 2 months of credit to my account by asking if my bill could be adjusted. I was also told at some point in the near future AT&T would have a 3G Microcell Booster available for home use to improve reception. Of course that will be an additional charge. Call AT&T and voice your complaints if you too have lost reception. If enough people complain, we may get a new tower sooner than later.

I have had AT and T for 5 years and have never had reception past Jimbos grocery all the way to Manchester Kentucky. I also camp and boat on Lake Cumberland and Laurel Lake with very poor reception. While camping at Laurel lake we have no reception while in the Campground or on the Lake. I (My Family) will be switching to Verizon for better coverage. I have been with AT&T because I am very brand loyal but I must make the change.

I had good to excellent coverage until 11 / 09 / 2009. On that Monday (3 days ago) my coverage was dropped... message when trying to connect: No Network Coverage. I drove a couple of miles to Berea and had a signal. So I called the AT&T assistance number, downloaded new data, etc. They are looking into the problem... . I know of 3 other AT&T customers on US 21 toward Paint Lick that lost their Network Coverage (NO SIGNAL... NO BARS) on that same day. I think one of their towers may have a problem, or they updated their network data, or they changed the power rating, or something changed, and our area is not in their coverage area. It could not be a problem with 4 different brands of phones with the AT&T network happening all at the same time unless some programming code / firmware / software was modified or a tower disabled. Since this is my only phone, I need to use it everyday and cannot drive 2 or 3 miles to get a signal. If this problem they created is NOT resolved very soon, I am switching providers. I don't won't to that since I have been with Cingular / AT&T several years and have always had good service until now. Please AT&T resolve this issue quickly... .
