Downtown Gravel Switch / Hwy. 243 and Railroad Ave. intersection, Gravel Switch, KY 40328
Mon Feb 26, 2007
There is no cell service in downtown Gravel Switch or the surrounding community. Gravel Switch is located 0.5 mile south from the intersection of US68 and HWY243. There is no cell service for approximately a 10-mile radius because of the knobs and there are no cell towers in the immediate area. On US 68, once you leave the city limits of Lebanon, KY the cell service drops until you get to the city limits of Perryville, KY- although my phone does pick up signal about 4 miles outside of Perryville. The Lebanon / Marion County area is Cellular One / Bluegrass Cellular.
All of Evarts / All of Evarts and Surrounding Areas In Evarts intersection, Evarts, KY 40828

I live in Evarts, Kentucky and we have NO cell phone service at all, they keep promising to put up cell towers, but they have yet too.. in my opinion, if they used satellite signals, then it'd be better. It seems strange that you can use an XM satellite radio in Evarts and get a perfect signal but yet no cell phone service? They should consider converting to satellite signal! We just need something done, because its aggravating not being able to use a cell phone.

I used to live in this area in N ky. There is absolutely no network coverage in this area and I have complained to T-Mobile many times without any result.

I'm less than 4 miles from city center and have -0- signal. Cingular customer service is very poor - no chat or email contact and can't post to tech support mb's. Website says to call in - BUT I HAVE NO SIGNAL! I also travel to other big cities and experience similar problems but none nearly so bad as when I'm at home. I've been a loyal customer but am ready to terminate the contract and move on, apparently to Verizon.
