If I stand outside and point the phone to the, east or north, think it is, I am able to pick up reception from one of the interstate antennas. This would allow me to get a signal, but one false step and zappo, signal loss. Really, there is only about a 3 sqr ft I can stand in to get the signal. Standing in the middle of an empty field didnt help either. Ha ha, what would you do for reception...

There is no reception at this point. but it use to have recption there 6 months ago it has gotton worst I think the towers all over Louisiana need to be turned up to full power, there are some people around here has already canceled there service with Alltel becauce of this. Please fix it
Very poor reception in Sikes, a small town. Can get almost one bar of analog service sometimes, but cannot make a call on it. Digital service only works to send a text message every now and then. No reliable calls can be made in this area.

Pitiful; that Alltel claims coverage here is an insult to the consumer.
I can't use my phone much at all at home. If I do it will lose the call after about 10 seconds. Sometimes it will not ring at all just go to voicemail.
My service is with Alltel, and it is terrible. I'm lucky if it even rings through, (Mostly goes to voicemail without ever ringing) and if it does I'm only able to keep the call maximum of 5-7 seconds, before the call is dropped. I have absolutely 0 signal strength. And 99% of the time my phone switches to analog. It is extremely aggrevating.

No in or out calls in the house - callers get message that I am not taking calls or that my phone is not in service and cannot leave messages - AT&T says they don't guarantee service in the house - outside gets up to 2 bars but bounces back and forth from 2 to 0 - can't hear callers - calls are full of stactic - calls are dropped - Was Cingular customer for years before and for a year after Katrina and best service I ever had - horrible since AT&T bought out Cingular - phones are very cheap, including upgrades - tired of paying for a service that does me no good and a company that couldn't care less about the caliber of their service or customer satisfaction - AT&T told me to go buy a Nokia pay-as-you-go phone at one of their stores - the AT&T store told me I had to go to Radio Shack or Walmart to buy a phone - what a joke and what a crime
Back side of hwy 1187 moving toward lake pearl. When you could get cell phones with external antenna, I could get reception with the antenna on top of the house.
