Am I the only one who is not getting ANY SERVICE for my At&T iphone? Ever since Jazz Fest started service has been poor, but since late afternoon Sunday there has literally been NO SERVICE AT ALL from At&T wireless.

Looks like from the comments above this has been a problem in this neighborhood for five years at least. AT&T is "Universal," eh? I have friends who live there and who drive through there and who have AT&T (as do I) and I'd bet my life there will be a dropped call 95% of the time. Average, the rest of the calls I make, probably only 20%, which is still way too high.

Bars fluctuate without moving from one spot. Can't stay on the phone more than 30 seconds AT MOST without the signal dropping completely off and dropping the call. I don't know if AT&T is leasing towers or just letting the ones they have fall apart but their business will surely go downhill quickly as their customer service is horrible. Put that together with dropping every call made and recieved in this area and the flat out lies the service reps are trained to tell the customer and there's just no way people will stay. WARNING... Beware of bundling your services with these crooks! You WILL get ripped off!

AT&T has poor reception at my home. There are dead spots from the boy scout camp on hwy. 15 north past my home to near Lake D'Arbonne. Glad my 2 yr. subscription is up and will switch to Verizon. C-ya AT&T. Hope your stupid company goes under.

I get no service even with a tower on the opposite side of the highway of the school. I can see it peeking over the trees and still no bars. I have a phone that gets ok service everywhere but here.

Have contacted Sprint and they have offered no help. Only place you can get reception is to drive out to the freeway or go into Denham Springs. Cell phone companies are missing out on a perfect opportunity for customers in this area.

Bob Nichols Dr., Deridder, LA 70634 Tue Nov 30, 2010

I was visiting family in mid 11 / 10, who had recently moved there. I had no bars - only a star showing the entire time I was in Deridder. Once you get closer to Lake Charles or are in the very northern part of Deridder which is in Vernon Parrish, instead of Beauregard, had reception. I did have good to very good reception while at Ft Gordon.

Sprint is terrible out here. Inside my house I get no bars. Have to go outside to be able to make a phone call. Data? Forget it, even outside. How can they advertise 4G phones and network when phones don't work inside the city? I've been putting up with this for over 5 years on my business cell phone.
