I don't understand why we cannot get reception in our area. It looks like to me, we will have to swith carriers, since we have consistantly tried to get a tower here. I have even said we would put a tower on our land. What is the problem? Looks like I will be switching carriers as soon as I can.
Verizon needs to put a tower in Starks, LA. Hwy. 12 is a very busy road, and so is Hwy. 109. I think everyone wouldn't be stuck on AT&T if we had another choice for a different cell phone service other than fonkey Nextel!

T-Mobile customer service states that I should have 3 or 4 bars when I have none. I have no T-Mobile service and T-Mobile doesn't have a contract with AT&T in order for me to roam. I've been with T-Mobile for 8 years and must now change services.
If I stand outside and point the phone to the, east or north, think it is, I am able to pick up reception from one of the interstate antennas. This would allow me to get a signal, but one false step and zappo, signal loss. Really, there is only about a 3 sqr ft I can stand in to get the signal. Standing in the middle of an empty field didnt help either. Ha ha, what would you do for reception...

Had ATT for 3 years in FL before 03 / 09 move to Pollock, LA. No problems in FL but virtually no reception at new home. ATT first said reception at my location should be 2-3 bars according to their service map. However, it was / is almost always 0 bars. Then ATT said problem was older chip in my phone. Upgraded chip. Still 0 bars. Looks like I am going to have to switch from ATT. Hate to do it because I wanted to upgrade to an Iphone which is only available from ATT.

We have to walk to the pasture to get any reception at my parents house. Dad has land and even offered for a cell tower to be installed. No comment from the company. My sister has Sprint and has the same results.
Once you hop in almost any building, there will be no service. T-Mobile is rediculous for wasting my time. Been dealing with them for months now, I'm planning to file a complaint with the district court if they charge me for breaking my contract. Why advertise a service, when there is none?
