THere is a new U S Cellular tower here! No service yet. Was just erected 2 weeks ago. cannot find out when it will be in service. It is located on Mike Carver's land at the end of Donigan Rd.in Moscow ME

It is necessary to travel 1 1 / 2 to 2 miles in order to be able to use our cell phones. Contract ends in March and then it is goodby to cingular.

no T-Mobile reception on mount desert island

Just moved up here. Been a T-Mobile customer for four yrs. Works through USA890(?) in town, however, NO receiption at my house. Hoping they will let me out of my contract, since I can't use it at home for emergencies.

No reception on Route 9 from Walmart in Somersworth, NH, thru Berwick to Salmon Falls road. Cingular Store in Somersworth changed the Chip. Same problem. If I want to use my Cell phone I have to drive to their store to take advantage of their signal repeater / broadcaster... I need to find another carrier!

Unbelievable-- our phone doesn't work at all up here. Calling Verizon tomorrow to find out what they can do for us (let us out of our contract?)

Less than 10 miles from Augusta and I can't get a cellphone signal? That stinks.

My husband was able to get Cingular service at the scenic lookout (where everyone seemed to be making cellphone calls) but I got nothing anywhere in the area.

Almost no service here in Castine, and only some dorms at Maine Maritime have service, but most dont.

cingular supposedly raised the bar! AT&T was not bad, but now that I have Cingular I must learn smoke signals. service is awful. No service south of sanford,portland areas, and north of portland in the yarmouth / freeport areas.
