We have a camp on the dyer road in the west Forks south of Jackman Maine, off of route 201.We do not have reception there is a us cell tower to the east of us in Greenville maine and there is one north of us in Jackman maine, there also is one south of us in bingham Maine, We do need one desperately,if there was an emergency we would have to drive at least 6 miles to ten miles and leave the person alone to call on a phone. There is a pay phone at the beginning of Moxie lake and we have to pay fifty cents a minute. The ambulance is at least one hour and a half away. Please reconcider putting a cell tower in out neck of the woods it would be of good use we wouldn't feel so isolated and fearfull of an accident or even death occuring due to lack of just a phone call away. Thank-you Cathy Williams home phone 207-582-7270 Pittston Maine

No coverage at home. Have to drive up the road to Pineland or to Pownal center to get any coverage. Installed a repeater at the house with no improvement at all.
No reception (occasionally Rogers--Canada) at all for Cingular anywhere around Lubec, Eastport, Whiting, Cutler, Machias... in short, anywhere along the coast of Maine between Jonesport and Calais.

Rediculously lousy reception. How is it worth all the money you pay for the phone and then monthly charges, if it cannot help you in the time of need. As with most people in rural Maine we commute to work. For the twelve hours I work a night, in Lewiston, ME I have reception, but I don't use my phone while I am working the graveyard shift!

Tower in RT 109 / Rt 111 area must be dead! Can't get bars even when it's in line of sight. Is it's purpose to just attract lightning? Where's Baldacci's promise about state coverage? Probably Lewiston---
