The phone can't seem to decide which service to use. Moving about, sitting still, whatever activity, the phone jumps from roam to home sporadically and frequently. The most common customer service comment boils down to I don't know how to use a cell phone, despite years of success with other carriers, phones, and yes, even this phone for about one year. The second year (last year for US Cellular and me?) has been increasingly vexing.
Sitting still on campus, this phone cycles between no service, roam service (digital and analog), and home service. Nothing US Cellular has done for me (which wasn't that much) seems to work, whether it is a mod to the phone or a trouble ticket for the system.
I can't use my phone at my home. Sometimes it will ring but I can't communicate. There has been a tower built here in Bristol, but through some political problems it has not been put in use. It seems the local companies are afraid of losing income.

I just moved here two days ago, i've gotten at least 100 dropped calls. I get at least two bars of reception in one spot of the house, but I can't stay in that one spot of the house the rest of my life. Went to USCellular to buy a new phone and figure out the reception problem. I still have no reception, and my cellphone is the only form of communication I have with anyone. Lame.

No reception in house. Only get reception whiloe out on porch, or somewhere outside. This is aggravating. When lur landline was out of service I called Verizon about it aon my cell phone and was dropped three times. This willnot do in an emergency. We had Cingular / Att prior but were dropped due to their not being covered in area and "too many raoming calls. Cingular / Att worked for us anywhere IN THAE HOUSAE. AWe do not like having to go oudoors in the rain to talk to anyone on our phone. WHat gives! AWe can send a man to the moon and missiles all ovwer the place but we cannot get proper phone coverage. Verizon needs to wake up and get the towers operating before taking any more of our money each month for inadequate service / reception. At best we might get two bars outdoors!
