Phone reports "No Service", unless I move towards Frederick Rd.on Newburg Ave, then start to get useful reception.

Sprint has terrible service in the Smithsburg area. Even when your phone says you have service and you try to use it, it never works. I recommend that you stay away from Sprint!

I am using Sprint phone for the last 4 years and live by Leasure World. Very sad when a company promises to put tower and never does. Reception is always poor.

No reception at all from my home about 2 miles north of Bethlehem. Signal begins to go week around Dover Bridge and usually drops between there and Bethlehem. Once my contract runs up, Im getting rid of this phone. I have no use for it when I spend 75% of my time at home and cant get a phone call to come in or go out

No EV-DO so far? I can't get it even though it says it's here...

I was with Sprint but needed a muti-capability phone which Sprint does not have. Went with their partner - which I discovered are not really their partner - because of the powerful Motorola i930. I was disappointed. Absolutely no service from my housing complex. Returned the phone, but now Sprint is holding me captive. I am phoneless. Be warned! Nextel does not work here. I will gladly get back my i930 whenever Nextell decides to compete at 21221 zip code. Till then, I'm gone. My advise, "stay away."

The reception here really sucks. When someone is on our dial up service computer I can not get through with our Verizon wireless phones. I guess it's verizon's way of making you get their phones, their high speed internet, and their wireless phone that don't work in our neighborhood.

This is ridiculous. Moving here from Pittsburgh, the hills of Western Pa afforded far better coverage than here in MD. This is flat land! La Plata and North seems good, but that doesn't help me just a few miles to the South. Absolutely no coverage in the house, and 1 bar outside. If the call goes through you better say what you gotta say quick, because you'll drop the call for sure. Can I get out of the contract? NO. Is the a provider with better coverage down here? Since July 20, 2006, NO coverage on my side of the street (parallel to Sligo Creek). Prior to that (since I moved here 2003), strong coverage. Multiple calls for network investigation -- nada. Cingular sux.
