My service absoloutly sucks. Im always out of service. My bars always go down when I am about to make a call. I could have like 4 and ill go to make a call and itll be down to one and then itll go to no service and say I lost the call! It really gets on my nerves. I don't get my voicemails until like a day later. Sometimes I dont at all. MY missed calls never show up. It gets so frustrating. Anyone have any ideas what I should do. I am going to Verizon very soon and gettin this checked out. Any ideas on better phones. My mom has one of those old Nokias and hers always has service. What do I do??!
I have Verizon and have terrible reception. I used to barely eek out reception in my apartment, occasionally getting 2-3 bars on a good day, but now, can barely get one bar, and even then, calls drop out in the middle of connecting routinely, etc. Retrieving voice mail is an exercise in futility. My Verizon coverage, strangely enough, has actually gottten worse. Same location, same phone - but my bars are now pretty much gone, even within a few block radius. T-Mobile works best in my area, of so I've heard. Haven't tried Cingular / AT&T but am considering it, since across the board, the performance of Verizon, everywhere I go is increadingly spotty and unreliable, with drop-outs, echoes, and sudden drops from 5-6 bars to none with no warning. Verizon definitely is starting to show reliability problems for me. (Of course, at work, they installed a Verizon antenna, so it works there. To bad it stinks every where else seemingly.)
Started off average, but in the course of 10 months, became totally useless. 1 in 20 calls got thru. AT&T told me to get a new phone, so I did, with the same result. I'm convinced that AT&T cut back on transmitter power, leaving a hole in my area. Indeed, they told me my address was no longer in their service area. Neverthless, they held me to a 2 year service contract for a phone that won't work. NEVER will I use AT&T again.

I switched from Verizon to ATT because of corporate discounts. I have to say, it was one of the worst moves I have ever made. I get absolutely no service what so ever. I am seriously considering just paying the termination fee and run as fast as possible away from ATT. In fact now that they've merged with Cingular, I am even more wary of their service. I have never heard good things about Cingular. Godspeed to anyone in my situation
Very Poor! Although this phone gets strong reception in most parts of Annapolis, in Severn and many other surrounding areas there is virtually nothing. (A few spots pick up a weak signal). By comparison, Nextel had a strong signal in these spots. I get zero bars inside my home, 1-3 outside, but even the weak signal usually drops out. The first week I purchased, TMobile suggested buying a booster. The poor reception above is With a booster.
