In my basement, nothing. I literally have to go to the end of my driveway, to get a decent signal... that won't get dropped.

We used to get great reception and then AT&T took over Cingular. Now I can't make calls at home without losing them. The AT&T reps told me to bear with it - they are upgrading towers post-merger and it will take some time for reception to improve - but that sounds like a lame excuse and of course no suggestion from them to refund me for the loss of service. I am looking at moving our whole family and our $225 per month bill to another carrier.

I have to lean on the window to make a phone call. If I go near the kitchen in the town home I lose the call. Sprint is just not any good.

Since Cingular merged with AT&T, reception has gone downhill. I used to receive good to excellent reception down the entire east coast including Florida. Now I lose almost all my calls while traveling in Harford and Baltimore County. I praised Cingular for their coverage but they now suck! Thanks for nothing AT&T.

Had 3 bars and accecptable reception when I moved here... ..after several months, receiption just fadded away. Verizon told me it's not their problem... it must be the leaves on the trees, and that I should wait until the seasons change and call back if "No Service" doesn't improve. Cingular must use leaf penetrating cell signals... .because all calls get thru... .just like magic

Bought house near bottom of hill at end of Cartland Way -- and neither cell phone has been able to hold onto a call when inside the house. Reception better at the Forest Hill industrial park but still never see more than 3 bars.

Coverage in this area is terrible. You have to drive a mile towards town to get a signal. You have to stand on your tip toes with aluminum foil on your head just to get one bar. Sprint is terrble here too. Not sure about Verizon but will see which of my friends can come by and check the reception. If they get a good signal I will switch to Verizon.
