No Reception at Georgetown on Forest Dr.heading towards Bay Ridge. Loud static starting from Chinquapin Round Rod down to Bay Ridge. Dropped calls down Bay Ridge Ave. to Eastport.
No Reception in Gunpowder State Park, especially at the bridge on Pleasantville Rd and north to Laurel Brook Rd. However the good news is Cingular is negotiating a stealth tower to correct this problem in the near future.
The signal is nonexistant in many places even outside, in the clear. The phone ocassionaly beeps when it gets a signal for a short peroid. I turn it off to get rid of the beeps.
I am still waiting to get reception in my house. Or reliable reception anywhere in Catonsville. Reception is pretty much awful to non-existant everywhere in 21228. Especially bad at Catonsville High School, UMBC, CCBC and thje Frederick Rd corridor.
No signal at all! Have lodged a complaint and was told the signal strength would be enhanced in 4 months. 4 months have passed and still no reception. Cingular is pretty weak, Sprint better and Verizon is best for this area.
It's a joke. Even with an external antenna. No service on US 340 from the river until Frederick, MD. Cingular has denied this in emails and says buying a new phone will solve all. Pfui.
